Ed joined Legacy Financial Group, now Commonwealth Financial Group, in September of 2009. He has been proudly working in the retirement planning and financial services industry for the past twenty years.
Prior to joining Commonwealth, Ed was a trust officer at a large New England bank and a VP at Fidelity Investments. A passion for starting his own financial planning practice and a desire to join a firm that focuses on holistic planning has led him to where he is today.
Commonwealth Financial Group has enhanced Ed’s practice by allowing him access to an extensive team of financial professionals. He is able to consult with a case design team, business planning specialists, an attorney, and CPAs.
This team-based approach results in a comprehensive strategy that is tailored specifically to each individual client.
Ed’s success can be attributed to his focus on a client-centered practice. He believes that his clients come first and that each one is completely unique and must be approached with customized solutions. He is passionate about educating his clients in the complex world of financial management and empowers them to make informed decisions.
After graduating from Fairfield University with a BS in Mathematics, Ed went on to earn his MBA from the University of Rhode Island with a concentration in Financial Management which he utilizes to assist businesses, retirees, and families. Ed lives in Cumberland, Rhode Island with his wife Melissa and their two children.
He has coached his children’s hockey teams and helps sponsor their school and traveling sports teams. When not in the office you will find him spending time with his family and staying active through golf, skiing, and hockey.
